The IEE trains entrepreneurial leaders based on the principles of freedom, individual responsibility, the rule of law and respect for private property. Over its more than 35 years, the institute has formed more than 230 members with the support of investors and donors who maintain it exclusively with private resources, forming a network that employs more than 162,000 people inside and outside Brazil through its ventures.

Fórum da Liberdade (Liberty Forum)

Created in 1988 to promote the ideals of the IEE, the Liberty Forum has become one of the largest meetings for debates on political and economic ideas in Latin America, with the participation of more than 20 speakers, including 10 heads of state and 5 Nobel Prizes.
